Project Process: This promo was conceptualized as a project for a motion design course at Parsons The New School. The concept and script were written then refined. Mood boards and mindmaps were created to help establish the design direction for the project. With the story and concept development complete, I transitioned into designing storyboards and style frames for the project. I designed the characters and all visual assets appearing in the promo video using Adobe Illustrator. This promo was mainly animated using Adobe After Effects along with a few After Effects plugins for character animation including Duik and Joy Sticks and Sliders. Small stroke effect animation was created with Adobe Animate. Once the animation phase was complete, I edited the final video together using Adobe Premiere Pro.
