The Corn Poppy Complementary

The goal of this project was to create a complementary color version of a master painting for a Color Theory course at Parsons the New School for Design. I selected Van Dongen's painting, "The Corn Poppy". After several rounds of adjusting values, colors and building up the painting I produced the painting shown here. I enjoyed the process of creating this project.
